Minnesota’s main theater stage once again delivers the powerful work of Heather Raffo, who draws on her personal experiences of being raised by an Iraqi father and American mother in New York for her work. In “Noura”, Raffo continues the biographical trend, but also taps into Arab American college students for help with the story as a response to Henrik Ibsen’s classic “A Doll’s House”. Even better, the Iraqi+American Reconciliation Project is collaborating with the Guthrie for an opening night party for the group’s Iraq Matters campaign and there’s still tickets. Friday, January 17th, 7:30 PM. —Hitara
