At the end of this communal dinner, one lucky artist walks away with everybody’s money. Well, sort of. In its sixth round, Feast MPLS is like a reality show contest for community arts that you get to participate in. First, there’s a public dinner where patrons are invited to peruse artists’ project proposals while they dine and then submit their vote for the most deserving artist. The winner takes all funds raised that night and comes back to present the fruitful results at the next dinner. In essence, it’s a dinner for starving artists. With voting. What could be more civic? And it surprises no one that this project was inspired by a similar one in Brooklyn. 6 p.m. $10-$20.
