Half the fun of going out to a live show comes from seeing something a little out of the ordinary. Of all the things going on tonight, the least conventional might just be the dynamic duos Daymoths and Lollipop Factory playing at the Kitty Cat Klub. St. Paul’s Daymoth—a twosome featuring drums, keyboard, and a varied amount of haunting vocals—will be playing some songs off their upcoming album, Back in Time. Lollipop Factory, also a two-piece, makes a stop on its Midwest tour, combine equal parts Fishbone, Frank Zappa, and Queen, and as mixed up as that may sound, guitarist David Tweed and stand-up drummer Bekah Manning have the rock chops to back it up. To top it all off, Jacob Grun from Me and My Arrow also performs. Free.
