“Who am I? D.R.I.!” It’s going to be a hot, sweaty, amazing show full of die hards tonight at the Triple Rock. How die hard? Instead of a show flier we’re using a screen grab from the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles‘ tattoo gallery, and that’s only a fraction of the many folks with DRI tattoos. The band, now on tour with two of the founding members (vocalist Kurt Brecht and guitarist Spike Cassidy), pioneered the hard core-meets-thrash pit mayhem that never made it mainstream, but directly inspired and influenced an entire generation of stinky, loud, thrashing party animals, many of whom started their own bands, like like local nacho-enthusiasts and jokester hard core band In Defence. Party animals Rad Enchancer also open. Best get advance tix, this will def sell out. 8 PM. $15 advance, $17 door. —Paul Cajun
