Cine Latino, a celebration of Latin American and Ibero cinema, returns for its sixth run this weekend. The 14-film festival, which spans Thursday through Sunday, includes stories of family secrets and demands, sports, growing pains, and even extra-terrestrial visitors. The festival kicks off on Thursday with a screening of Roma. Academy Award winning director Alfonso Cuarón’s own childhood provided inspiration for the film, which follows a middle-class family living in Mexico City in the 1970s. Thursday November 8 – Sunday November 11. Varying times and ticket prices. —Isabelle Wattenberg
