Bawdy Blue-A Burlesque Revue with Ill Chemistry
Hopefully you’re not hanging out with your grandma tonight. Because there’s a fantastically inappropriate and entertaining show going on at the Ritz Theater that you should be present for. Picture a show filled with scantily-clad dancers. Then add scenes with titles such as, “Cowgirls with a Fetish!” Or my personal favorite, “Memoirs of a Bad-Ass Geisha!” Then throw Ill Chemistry into the mix—the fantastic combo of Minneapolis’s mother of hip-hop, Desdemona, and Carnage’s ridiculous beat boxing skills—and you’ve quite literally got the most unique burlesque show in town. Grab drinks before the show right down the street at the 331 Club to rid yourself of your Minnesota modesty, and what the heck, bring grandma. After a drink or two she’ll most likely add in priceless commentary. 8:30 p.m. $12. —AA
