Get in on the record store partying a month early by celebrating the second birthday of Barely Brothers in St. Easy. On Friday the shop will be selling a bunch of collectible music publicity photos while DJ Steve Teit spins albums, and then the party heads to the Dubliner for more music from DJs Fathertime, Ben Mena, and Brian Engel. Then on Saturday, before they play at First Ave, the secular House of Mercy gospel band will be performing some tracks from their brand new CD Devil Music inside the record store, which will be a fantastic set to catch and may be the musical highlight of the weekend. And, of course, Barely’s albums will be discounted for your purchasing pleasure on Saturday as well. Friday 5 PM, Saturday 10 PM. —Dan Raddemacher
