There’s always a sinking feeling in your chest when you notice a friend has hung the same painting/placed the same coffee table book/used the same vase as you. No one likes to have their art choices imitated. That’s why we’re gearing up to hit the 15th annual MCAD Art Sale. One of the largest art sales of its kind in the country, the MCAD Art Sale features more than 6,000 pieces from student and recent-grad artists.

And as if it wasn’t cool enough getting an original work of art for an affordable price (most are under $100), all ticket and sale proceeds directly benefit the arts, going toward the individual artists and the MCAD Art Sale Scholarship Fund. Currently, the sale has brought in a grand total of $2 million for emerging artists. Fortunately, you have until November 17 to check out the artwork but we recommend reserving your tickets now and going before the last day to be sure you find your favorite one-of-a-kind piece. Nov. 15 and 16, 6 p.m., Nov. 17, 9 a.m. —RO
