If only Andrew Wilkes-Krier’s piano teacher all those years ago could see him today! To think it’s been 10 years since the release of I Get Wet, the album that famously featured a bloody-nosed Andrew on its cover. We can’t really call his most famous single “Party Hard” much more than exactly what its title is: a repetitive appeal to listeners to party hard. And the streamlined message of partying still holds up, even after Andrew W.K.’s own MTV series, Your Friend, Andrew W.K., where fans would write seeking advice and he would respond in person and somehow fix everything. (It didn’t last super long, but still.) But mix his universally-applicable message of “let’s rock,” with his experience as a motivational speaker and you’re sure to leave one of his shows feeling pretty good about life. Show gets going early with dark dancehall jammer Aleister X and electropunk Math the Band. 6 p.m. $20.
