Twin Cities music lovers will flock to Grumpy's Northeast this evening for a heaping helping of local tunes courtesy of music know-it-all and blogger, Kyle Matteson. Kick it in the intimate confines of Nordeast's best dive bar and listen to Kyle flip some wax (or possibly mp3s) featuring hot local tracks by hot local bands. Not to mention, you can sip a refreshing brewski served up by guest bartender, Tony Zaccardi of much-loved local band, Romantica. Organized by Grumpy's and morecowbell.net (which, incidentally, is Mr. Matteson's own site), this rotating door DJ event invites a different host each week to give props to Minnesota's finest tunesmiths, rockers, hip hoppers and everything in between. What's better? All locally-made beers are half price from 5-9pm at Grumpy's every Monday. All local, all the time! Music runs from 7-9pm and the event is free and open to the public.
