Mike S. eats more burgers in a weekend than we do in an entire Lenten season and documents his meaty exploits at the #GreatAmericanBurgerHunter tag on Instagram. We love his work (how does he not have his own show for this?), so we convinced the Hunter to share some of his patty places with you, our hungry readership.
Come at me bro from the west metro! This week’s burger hails from Minnetonka where the yuccies (hipster/yuppie) swell like ducks on a pond. BLVD Kitchen and Bar is quite urbane and plays host to foodies that are ready for the big leagues. Let’s get to the true grit. The burger holds its head high—and folks, it should. The bun is soft and . . . almost inviting? The meat is full of flavor and very juicy. They know medium. Don’t sleep on the white cheddar cause it’s amazing partnered with the applewood bacon. A true two-fister that deserves a happy dance. Big ups on the build. Everything appropriately proportionate. Chef had to of been an architect in a former life. Go for the drive, stay for the burgers.
