Secrets of the City is the daily digest of Twin Cities culture. Readers will find Today's Talk, Today's Secrets, and Today's Magazine, all from a uniquely local perspective.
Everyday, Secrets of the City delivers three primary content areas for people who want to keep a finger on the pulse of their city:
- SECRETS: insiders' recommendations on everything from hot shows and events, to quiet openings, loud meeting places, and the newest neighborhood sweet spots.
- TALK: an open forum for razor-sharp banter about everything from local brews to smoking bans, from media to music. Plus, a daily roundup of over 400 local web sites.
- MAGAZINE: Daily articles covering arts, sports, food, politics, and society, with reviews, essays, and reports, plus photos, videos, and even a daily Dude Weather forecast.
Secrets of the City content is created and consumed daily, but is also searchable and easily browsed by topic, date, and location. Today's Talk, Secrets, and Magazine are supplemented by a comprehensive database of restaurants, events, and deals.
Secrets of the City launched on November 15, 2008 and is the product of The Rake magazine, which was published in print and distributed around the Twin Cities from 2002 – 2008, and MNSpeak.com, a Twin Cities open blog and news/blog aggregator.
Secrets of the City is published in Minneapolis by Entropy Publishing, LLC.
